Hi! I miss posting on my Crafthursday series. So I looked for this one DIY I made and posted on Instagram last year and thought it’d be a nice throwback post. Hehe. Anyway, full details on how to do this after the jump!
IG Caption: “DIY iPod Touch or iPhone back cover for replaceable case design. • Ran out of time to show the finished product but I guess you have the idea. Also, first #InstagramVideo dahil nawala yung kahapon.”
Want to make your own DIY iPhone case design? Just watch the IG video above or follow the instructions below.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Transparent or clear iPod/iPhone case
- Scissors/X-Acto Knife
- Your preferred paper with design (you can use card stock paper, stationery, scrapbooking paper, gift wrapper, etc.)
- Trace your case on the paper using a pencil. Make sure to trace the holes too (camera, loop holder, etc.)
- Cut out the shapes using scissors or X-Acto knife
- Place the cut out design/paper on your case
You can make as many designs as you want and change your cover as often as you like! So easy and way cheaper than buying different cases, yes?
Gah, I still miss my iPod touch so much!!! Huhu. It was supposed to be a year and a month old now but it was stolen from me two months after buying it. It was a really, really, sad and mildly traumatizing experience for me. *cries*
Anyway, it’s gonna be my birthday next month so if anyone wants to give me an Apple device as a gift, I’ll promise to love you forever! LOL JUST KIDDING OF COURSE! I’m not materialistic. Or am I? Kidding again. Haha!
Seriously though, I’m thinking of getting myself an iPhone or iPad Air OR BOTH! But lately, I just bought new gadgets and still saving for other priority stuff so I guess my craving for Apple will have to wait a little longer.
Sorry, I babble! I hope you like this throwback DIY tutorial. ^_^
